Anuraga Karikkin Vellam Movie Review

Anuraga Karikkin Vellam is a 2016 Indian Malayalam film directed by debutant Khalid Rahman. Starring Biju Menon and Asif Ali in lead roles, the film is produced by Shaji Nadesan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Santhosh Sivan, and Arya under the banner of August Cinema.

The story of Anuraga Karikkin Vellam revolves mainly around four characters. Raghu, is a police officer, who lives with his wife Suma and their two children. Abhilash, who is the son of Raghu, is an architect and a representative of today’s youth. Abhilash falls for a girl named Elizabeth. The film takes a close look into the relations of these two couples, and at the same time giving due importance to father-son bond.

Anuraga Karikkin Vellam is a fresh, beautiful family movie that will absolutely win your hearts. Relatable to each and every member of the family whatever age they maybe in, this one is a definite must watch. A sincere, heartfelt and lovable performance from Asif Ali, a fantastic Biju Menon in superb form, an elegant Asha Sharath and a great surprise package in the form of the heroine Rajisha Vijayan. And of course, the ever bankable Sudheer Karamana, Maniyan Pillai Raju, Sreenath Bhasi and the dude Soubin Shahir who totally owns every scene he is in.

Written with a lot of heart by Naveen Bhaskar and skillfully executed by Director Khalid Rahman with lovely music by Prashant Pillai and fab cinematography by Jimshi Khalid.

Totally it’s Simple. Cute. Go and watch it without high expectations! It wont disappoint you!
