Nagaravaridhi naduvil njan movie review

Nagaravaridhi naduvil njan directed by Shibu Balan is a common story of a night security Venu played by sreenivasan. This film’s screenplay and dialogues are written by Sreenivasan. It is  produced by Mukesh R Mehta under the banner of E 4 Entertainment.

Venu lives with his wife Sunitha (Sangeetha) and daughter. His daughter wish to become a doctor.For the admission of his daughter Venu has to sell his five cent property which is dumped with waste by neighbouring residents. Story moves with obstacles faced by venu to remove the waste and sell the plot.
Sreenivasan once again tries to become a representative of ‘common man’ . Movie deals with common social attitudes and its influence on a common man. Davis (Innocent) is a great support for Venu in his efforts. Mayooranadhan (Vijarakhavan) the resident’s association president is an obstacle on the way of Venu. Rajasenan(Lal), Sebastian (Joy Mathew)and Suresh (Manoj k Jayan) are all old friends of Venu. Today they play dirty politics in Kerala about which Venu don’t care. Yet they play crucial role in Venu’s life. Story come to an end all of a sudden. Background score of Ouseppachan is typical yet impressive.

You get to laugh a lot from the situations created by Sreenivasan. Yet one can’t expect a story with depth and perfection.

Costumes by Saranya suits the storyline as well as simple art direction by Diljith M Das.

The visuals by Pappu& Sameer Haq are excellent though not exceptional with are well edited by Renjan Abraham.

This film is not a sequel of Chinthavishtayaya Syamala and  fail to reach the standard of it. Yet watchable if you keep the expectations low.
