Shibu Balan’s directorial debut Nagara Varidhi Naduvil Njan has Sreenivasan and Sangeetha in the lead roles.
The film is a social satire penned down by Malayalam’s ever favorite script writer Sreenivasan. Sangita plays the role of the protagonist Venu’s (Sreenivasan) wife in the movie. Sangeeta had bagged the Kerala State Award for Best Actress for her role as Shyamala in her previous film, Chinthavishtayaya Shyamala (1998) with Sreenivasan. Manoj K. Jayan, Innocent, Vijayaraghavan, Bheeman Raghu are the other prominent actors in the movie.
The movie’s background score has been done Thaikkudam bridge fame, Govind Menon.
