Rajiv Ravi shot life on camera again. Kammatipaadam is realistic gangster flick!

Kammatipaadam is a 2016 Indian Malayalam crime-drama film directed by Rajeev Ravi and written by P. Balachandran. The film stars Dulquer Salman, Vinay Forrt, Shine Tom Chacko, Vinayakan, Manikandan and features model Shaun Romy in her film debut. John P Varkey and Vinayakan compose the music. Madhu Neelakandan is the director of photography. B Ajithkumar handles the editing. As Director Kammatipaadam is the third film of Rajeev ravi After Njan Steve Lopez and Annayum Rasoolum.

Kammatipaadam has got a thrilling story, great actors and brilliant technicians. The Movie Does Justice To The Realistic Classic! It’s a Rare one.

The Film is Started from childhood of krishnan and his Friends. The Fist half of 45 minutes of the film focus to show the Character balan’s life only. This times also show the Childhood and teenage life of Krishnan along with the Vinayakan. The movie basically tells us the story of Krishnan and his friends. The second half mainly focus on the revenge area of the story. Krishnan is on his way to find his roots in Kerala. His journey from Mumbai to Kerala is because of a mysterious reason. The second half moves into the dark zone and slowly and steadily progresses to it’s conclusion. The Film also have unpredictable story and climax.

Highlights of the film is the performances. Especially the character balan (manikandan) and ganga (vinayakan)it’s mind blowing. Dulquer is improving after every movies. His maturity in acting can be evidently seen in Kammatipaadam. Shaun Romy do fine Job in the movie and also show why she is get Rajeev’s movie in heroin role. The another one in the film is soubin’s role. Three scene of the soubin’s it’s fantastic. All new comers actor’s do a nice job in the film. The best thing in the film is Screen play and Duration was The Main Drawback of The Film. Any way movie lovers like lot this movie because it’s rare one!

As every Rajeev Ravi movie cinematography was brilliant. Kochi and Mumbai are fantastically captured by Madhu Neelakandan, with an eclectic, trippy soundtrack by John P Varkey, K and Vinayakan. In comparison with the other two movies Rajeev Ravi did, Kammatipaadam is more on the commercially viable. Appreciations are due for the casting catch of Dulquer and Vinayakan’s teenage looks. Those boys look just like the younger version of the stars. Rajeev again proved he is one the great director in realistic movies. John P Varkey and Vinayakan do a fantastic job in music section of the film. Especially the background music. Songs also good and it’s so touchable!

Totally The Film Kammatipaadam “it’s An Experience Like you can’t Imagine”!.
