Lailaa O Lailaa Review

Laila O Laila is an action thriller written by Suresh Nair and directed by Joshiy. But family drama will suit it better than the other tag.

Story revolves around the relationship between Jai( Mohan Lal) an export executive and his wife Anjali (Amala Paul). Satyaraj plays the Boss of Jai.

Jai had a failed marriage and now trying his best to keep his relationship with Anjali good; in spite of his demanding job.

As the movie goes ahead all learn that Jai is more than what meets the eyes but his wife. Eventually Jai gets involved in a “mission” which cause threat to his wife as well.

Now its in Jai’s hands to save his wife and save the country from a terrorist attack…

Even Joshiy shows signs of aging! Age old tricks of cutting the cable of a bomb, guessing the password by the hero, last minute solutions are all deployed in this film. Joseph Nellickal did well with interior decoration but the undercover built up was not upto the mark.

Gopi Sundar made a sincere effort for background score. But none of the song get stuck in your head.

Camera by Loganathan and editing of. Shyam are excellent except in climax sequence.

Ariport and flight visualization are far better than ‘Khandahar’ but wont match expectations. This one will meet your expectations if you want to watch a family drama than an action thriller.

Watchable for Lalettan fans.
