Kanal Movie Preview

Kanal is an upcoming 2015 Malayalam thriller road movie, directed by M. Padmakumar and scripted by S. Suresh Babu. Starring Mohanlal, Anoop Menon, Atul Kulkarni, Pratap Pothan, Honey Rose and Nikita Thukral. Ouseppachan and Vinu Thomas composed the music. The film is produced by Abaam Movies in association with Aashirvad Cinemas.

Mohanlal, Padmakumar and Suresh Babu are working together for the second time after their 2010 film Shikkar. Ernakulam, Mysore, Hyderabad, Munnar, Goa and Qatar are the filming locations. The principle photography began on May 2015 in Kochi and completed on August 2015. The film revolves around two families hailing from the south Indian state of Kerala who have spent some important years of their lives in the Middle East.
