Amar Akbar Anthony Movie Review

Amar Akbar Anthony Movie Review

Amar Akbar Anthony is a comedy directed by Nadirsha to entertain. The story is written by Bibin George and Vishnu Unnikrishnan.

Amar Akbar Anthony showcase the life of three young men who share their lives as well as dreams. All three hails from lower middle class of the metro city and are engaged in petty jobs.

Even though each of their families struggle to meet ends, they have a dream – a visit to Pattaya island. Their savings are always eaten up by one issue or other. And Jenni ( Namita Pramod) is the dream girl of every boy in the block, of whom Amar, Akbar and Anthony are also no exception. Amar’s family not only have his parents but also Rizmi ( Srinda Ashab ) whose marriage was a failure for which Amar’s mother was the brocker. Rizmi’s daughter Fathima is also in the house. Garudan Sabu (Kalabhavan Shajon) also comes into their life accidentally.

Movie goes on with all normal ingredients for an entertainer in Malayalam. Guest appearances by Asif Ali, Dharmajan and Ramesh Pisharadi do entertain us along with main cast.

The three youngsters happened to neglect a threat, price of which they had to pay dearly. This forms the crux of the story.

Sujith Vasudev did a good jib to bring clear visuals along with John Kutty the editor. Nadirsha not only directed the movie but also provided with the songs of the movie. Background music by Bijibal is good as usual but has nothing to surprise you.

With some new and interesting jokes and with the help of a star cast Nadiraha successfully pulled a complete entertainer.
